This notice explains how MarkDrift Forge Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit markdriftforge.life or contact us by email or telephone. We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.

What we collect
When you browse this site: our hosting provider processes server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, request time and pages viewed. We do not operate third-party analytics on this site by default.
When you email or call us: we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address, telephone number, company name and message content, plus attachments you include.
Cookie preferences: if you interact with our cookie banner, we store your choices locally and in a small cookie file as described on cookies.php.

Lawful basis
We process data on the grounds of legitimate interests (operating a business website, responding to enquiries), consent (where you set cookie preferences or opt into optional features), and contractual necessity when you become a client.
Retention
Server logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to security monitoring, then deleted or aggregated. Enquiry emails are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records — typically up to seven years where required for professional correspondence. Cookie preference records expire after about six months unless you renew them by interacting with the banner again.
Disclosure to third parties
We use a hosting provider in Singapore to serve this site. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Google Maps embed
Every page on this site includes an embedded Google Map showing our studio address. When functional cookies are allowed, Google may set cookies and collect usage data according to Google's policies. When you reject functional cookies, the map is replaced by a placeholder until you choose to load it. See cookies.php for detail.
International transfers
Google Maps content is served from Google's infrastructure, which may involve processing outside Singapore. We enable the embed only when you consent to functional cookies or choose to load the map.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to, correction of, or cessation of collection of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions. Contact [email protected]. If you remain dissatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect data we hold. No online transmission is completely secure; please do not send highly sensitive personal data by unsecured email.
Changes
We may update this notice. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be noted on this page.

Children
This site describes business-to-business professional services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen. If you believe a minor has contacted us, write to [email protected] and we will delete the correspondence.
Marketing communications
We do not add visitors to mailing lists from server logs alone. If you email us, we may retain your address to respond and, with your permission, to send material directly relevant to an ongoing conversation. You may ask us to stop at any time.
Data minimisation
We ask for attachments and context because brand work requires reading what already exists — not because we wish to hold large archives. When a project ends, we agree in the contract what to return, what to delete, and what to retain for legal or continuity reasons.
Access and correction requests
To request access or correction, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to locate your records. We respond within thirty days where the PDPA requires it, and sooner when we can. We may need to verify identity before releasing data.
Client materials during engagements
When you become a client, we process personal data contained in briefs, stakeholder lists, and draft copy under our project agreement. That agreement defines confidentiality, retention, and subprocessors such as secure file storage. This website notice does not replace contract terms for active engagements.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on visitors or enquirers.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore. We prefer to resolve concerns directly first — most issues are misunderstandings about what we hold and why.
Google Maps in detail
Each page embeds a map of our Joo Chiat studio. The embed is loaded only when you allow functional cookies or press "Load map" on a placeholder. Google may process IP address, device type, and interaction data when the iframe loads. We do not receive individual analytics from Google about your map viewing. For a text-only alternative, our full address and telephone number appear in the footer of every page and on the contact page.
Retention schedule summary
Server logs: rotated within ninety days unless needed for a security investigation. Enquiry emails: retained while active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Client project files: per contract, typically seven years for correspondence where required. Cookie consent: about one hundred and eighty days, then the banner may return.
Do not call registry
We do not purchase marketing lists or append data from brokers. Every person we correspond with has written to us, called us, or been introduced through a mutual professional contact with context.
Photographs on this site
Images on markdriftforge.life are editorial photographs used under licence. They may depict people and places that are not our employees or premises; they illustrate the type of studio environment we maintain rather than documenting a specific client engagement.
Data protection officer contact
The DPO role is handled by a designated director who responds to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge privacy enquiries within five working days and resolve straightforward access requests within thirty days as the PDPA allows.
Withdrawal of consent
Where we rely on consent — for example optional analytics if enabled in future — you may withdraw it by writing to the DPO or by clearing cookie preferences. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal, and we may retain certain records where law or contract requires.
Accuracy and updating your details
If your contact details change during an engagement, tell us so invoices and approvals reach the right person. We update records promptly when you provide verified information.
Third-party processors
Our hosting provider processes server logs on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We review subprocessors periodically and restrict them to what is necessary to operate the site and deliver contracted services.
Personal data of employees and contractors
We hold employment and contractor records separately from website data. This notice covers visitors and business contacts. Staff privacy is governed by internal HR policies and employment law.
Legitimate interests assessment
We rely on legitimate interests to operate a public website, respond to enquiries, and maintain security logs. We balance those interests against your rights by minimising collection, restricting access, and offering opt-out where appropriate.
Updates and notification
When we materially change this notice, we update the date at the top and describe the change in plain language on this page. We do not rely on buried policy changes; significant shifts in purpose or disclosure will be visible here.
